When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anaia Barba made a kick off. Toninho Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Germano Siqueira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gláuber Ramalho firmly grabbed it by the left post. Faustão Freire hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Germano Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldinho Romero had several of the S. E. Palestra booed when Mexilhão F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexilhão F. Gláuber Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. S. E. Palestra's Gláuber Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save S. E. Palestra from getting a goal against them. Gláuber Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anaia Barba in the 94th minute of the match.
