In the 13th minute, Gláuber Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léo Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when David Perez sent off a good shot on target. David Perez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Léo Pinheiro having to make a save. 28 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper Léo Pinheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvito Font. In the 30th minute, Andres D'Alessandro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fresco Baltanas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Léo Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Perez in the 38th minute of the match. Dinamo Colorado's Léo Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Dinamo Colorado from getting a goal against them. Alvito Font recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Léo Pinheiro stood somewhat misplaced when David Perez came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 44 minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charles Loyola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Colorado's Rafael Borre got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, UE Cornella's Alvito Font got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Dinamo Colorado's Léo Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Ponce in the 79th minute of play. Rafael Borre's late challenge caught a UE Cornella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Borre helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of UE Cornella booed when Dinamo Colorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Borre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Rafael Borre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léo Pinheiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Perez went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Dinamo Colorado's Cesinha Meirelles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fresco Baltanas. Fresco Baltanas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The UE Cornella fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dinamo Colorado had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
