With a little luck, Royal PSG's Paul Boulais got control of the ball when Leonides Manny tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camilo Mondragon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Paul Boulais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Manny in the 11th minute. Camilo Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Roi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laureano Viviano hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben Roi in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Mondragon saved Formentera from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Ben Roi put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Mondragon. Guillermo Marin struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Paul Boulais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formentera. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Manny in the 22nd minute of play forced Royal PSG's goalkeeper Paul Boulais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Royal PSG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoine Bonnard to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Tabb in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Boulais saved Royal PSG from getting behind. Camilo Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Galpin in the 27th minute of the match. When Maurice Chalaye fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royal PSG's protests and gave Maurice Chalaye a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Royal PSG's Maurice Chalaye got a free kick in the 30th minute. Paul Boulais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Manny in the 32nd minute. Tom Galpin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Mondragon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Royal PSG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustave Szymczak to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Antoine Bonnard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Marin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Boulais having to make a save. 40 minutes into the game, Formentera's Leonides Manny nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paul Boulais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ben Roi to strike the kick off in the second half. Chris Le Clainche kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Leonides Manny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Boulais having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Royal PSG's Gustave Szymczak seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gustave Szymczak the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Royal PSG protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gustave Szymczak had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 61 minutes of play, Formentera's David Tabb made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Boulais was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paul Boulais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Tabb in the 64th minute of the match. Paul Boulais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Manny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Royal PSG's Paul Boulais tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the game, Leonides Manny cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Paul Boulais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonides Manny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Boulais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. When Lenny Delsart fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royal PSG's protests and gave Lenny Delsart a yellow card for diving instead. Paul Boulais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Marin in the 91st minute of the match. When Ben Roi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Royal PSG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ben Roi couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute Leonides Manny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Boulais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Formentera fully deserved thier win.
