The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Van den Gans during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerry Verengen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC NILS getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pol Putov hit a great ball. Pol Putov might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrik Huyberechts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pol Putov ran back to his position shaking his head. Johan Bakayoko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Niklas Skoglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrik Huyberechts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pol Putov, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Fernand De Koster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC NILS's Marko Hegg was substituted for Pol Putov. FC NILS's Darin Bozduganov was substituted for Zebastian Palmkvist. After 71 played minutes Darin Bozduganov rounded FC Klavertje Vier's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-6. After 78 played minutes FC Klavertje Vier got a freekick which was hit by Fernand De Koster. In the 79th minute, FC Klavertje Vier's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Darin Bozduganov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 82 minutes into the match, Darin Bozduganov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrik Huyberechts. The supporters of FC Klavertje Vier booed when FC NILS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Gaueko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd match minute, FC Klavertje Vier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Verengen to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Christer Boberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC NILS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
