Maurice Chalaye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Royal PSG's Félicien Gardelle got a free kick in the 26th minute. Amancio Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fresco Baltanas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Chalaye, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serge Dole during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tom Galpin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Fresco Baltanas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Galpin came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fresco Baltanas could save by the left post. After 92 played minutes Royal PSG got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Marie Guichaoua. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the UE Cornella players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
