Hahay's Edgar Smuskiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Prado in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Sport Club Mavericks defense, Bernard Drugi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeu Prado. The Sport Club Mavericks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeu Prado should have stopped the shot. In the 9thth minute of the game Virgílio Bastos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hahay's Edgar Smuskiewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Aníbal de Sena put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Sport Club Mavericks getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Aníbal de Sena hit a great ball. Sport Club Mavericks's Edson Mattos was substituted for Nelson Mandrak. After 12 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal de Sena. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Club Mavericks's zone, Thomas Ulleberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Prado came out of the goal and Thomas Ulleberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgílio Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juvenal Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Prado in the 25th minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Edgar Smuskiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Bernard Drugi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeu Prado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Leandro de Castro hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. Thomas Ulleberg, 50 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half Hahay were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romário Senadović was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado got control of the ball when Bernard Drugi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hahay's Korneliusz Weyna got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernard Drugi took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeu Prado. Amadeu Prado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 70 minutes, Cezary Domarecki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hahay and the Sport Club Mavericks players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cezary Domarecki kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Hahay made a substitution. Marek Kaider replaced Korneliusz Weyna. After 71 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Domarecki. Edgar Smuskiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romário Senadović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeu Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Kaider in the 75th minute of play. When Robert Roman fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hahay's protests and gave Robert Roman a yellow card for diving instead. Hahay made a substitution. Dawid Wierzcholek replaced Cezary Domarecki. The tension between the Sport Club Mavericks and the Hahay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute Romário Senadović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Smuskiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Noworolnik in the 89th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Marek Kaider kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amadeu Prado. That made the score 0-5 in the 97 minute of play.
