David Nyman's late challenge caught a FC Klavertje Vier's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Nyman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. David Nyman hit a great ball. After 5 minutes, Leo Nyman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strömsbro IF and the FC Klavertje Vier players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Klavertje Vier booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Nyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Klavertje Vier's Henrik Huyberechts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börge Kristiansson in the 9th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johannes Smitt during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Johan Bakayoko was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, FC Klavertje Vier's Johan Bakayoko got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Börge Kristiansson came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Strömsbro IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börge Kristiansson couldn't finish the play. When Jaques Van Linthout fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Klavertje Vier's protests and gave Jaques Van Linthout a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes FC Klavertje Vier got a freekick which was hit by Jaques Van Linthout. After having played for 25 minutes, Börge Kristiansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strömsbro IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börge Kristiansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrik Huyberechts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börge Kristiansson in the 30th minute of the match. Gustaf Åström charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustaf Åström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Gustaf Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Verengen in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Lukas Pilblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Klavertje Vier booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Vallman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerry Verengen kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Strömsbro IF's Sune Tunström was substituted for Magne Håkansson. Henrik Huyberechts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Strömsbro IF's Thomas Lövkvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrik Huyberechts. That made the score 0-1 after 57 minutes of play. 68 minutes into the game, David Nyman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henrik Huyberechts. David Nyman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. FC Klavertje Vier made a substitution. Gery De Clercq replaced Lars De Kerpel. FC Klavertje Vier's Wesley Ryers was substituted for Bjorn Blocks. 72 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Verengen came free, but Ivar Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börge Kristiansson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Klavertje Vier's zone, Börge Kristiansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrik Huyberechts came out of the goal and Börge Kristiansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Strömsbro IF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
