Ivar Albohm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC NILS. In the 7th minute Zebastian Palmkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Smitt. After 19 minutes FC NILS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Johannes Smitt who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Strömsbro IF's Johannes Smitt to fire away a dangerous shot which Niklas Skoglund despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Pol Putov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Börge Kristiansson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Niklas Skoglund. The goal made the score 2-0. Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zebastian Palmkvist in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Christer Boberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Strömsbro IF's Börge Kristiansson got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Lövkvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pol Putov in the 45th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Thomas Lövkvist got a free kick in the 55th minute. Pol Putov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Pol Putov came free, but Ivar Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niklas Skoglund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Börge Kristiansson's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börge Kristiansson in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niklas Skoglund saved FC NILS from getting behind. In the 75th minute of the match, Christer Boberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ivar Albohm was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 79 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Bruse. In the 80th match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Bruse to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, FC NILS's Tim Nordlund broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Darin Bozduganov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC NILS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strömsbro IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC NILS's Darin Bozduganov got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Florencio Gaueko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. David Nyman hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Sune Tunström. 89 minutes into the match, FC NILS's Tim Nordlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivar Albohm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Filip Örtlund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivar Albohm, 2-1. Strömsbro IF's Karl-Åke Forss quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jan Bocklund, made in the 96th minute of the game. FC NILS's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Strömsbro IF had won, even though FC NILS had held more of the ball.
