With a little luck, AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven got control of the ball when Mathijs Rokeloos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulises Steven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 21st minute. After 33 played minutes AFC Koolkerke got a freekick which was hit by 庄剑响. KFC Cromvelde's attentive Jean-Louis Van Bever managed to snatch the ball when Philipp Raemakers made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. Jean-Louis Van Bever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Smits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jochen Van den Panhuizen hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a little luck, AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven got control of the ball when Mathijs Rokeloos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathijs Rokeloos in the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to KFC Cromvelde getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Karl-Heinz Kaltz hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Robertinho Carabajal came free, but Jean-Louis Van Bever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Cromvelde from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Alex Koit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st match minute, AFC Koolkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Koit to maneuver through the defense.
