The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 56thth minute of the game Stamen Tekeliev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Twierdza Osowiec's Ricardo Hendrickx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Kartal Başar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Twierdza Osowiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Kartal Başar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Roberto Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Playa Malvín's Niva Espellosa was substituted for Stamen Tekeliev. Twierdza Osowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joško Van Landschoot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Twierdza Osowiec's Pepo Orihuela managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gamus Rocha in the 87 minute of the game.
