The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ricardo Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xorxe Canosa in the 5th minute of play. Xorxe Canosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kartal Başar in the 11th minute of play forced Machu Picchu's goalkeeper Ball Hold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Twierdza Osowiec's Ricardo Hendrickx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Twierdza Osowiec from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's Kartal Başar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ball Hold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ball Hold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kartal Başar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xorxe Canosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Hendrickx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xorxe Canosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricardo Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xorxe Canosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Dom Lugano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xorxe Canosa in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Hendrickx saved Twierdza Osowiec from getting behind. The throw-in from Billy Hendrickx in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Machu Picchu's Dom Lugano. Ball Hold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kartal Başar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Kartal Başar made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Twierdza Osowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Hendrickx to maneuver through the defense. Twierdza Osowiec's Ricardo Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xorxe Canosa in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Xorxe Canosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Hendrickx. Twierdza Osowiec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xorxe Canosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Ricardo Hendrickx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Twierdza Osowiec's Pang Qiang Fan got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ricardo Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xorxe Canosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ricardo Hendrickx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xorxe Canosa went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kartal Başar in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ball Hold saved Machu Picchu from getting behind. Machu Picchu's Abuzer İmge was substituted for Hayrullah Özgun. Twierdza Osowiec made a substitution. Joško Van Landschoot replaced Kartal Başar. Twierdza Osowiec's Billy Hendrickx managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dom Lugano in the 74 minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils Daniels during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Twierdza Osowiec! Ricardo Hendrickx had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Xorxe Canosa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Billy Hendrickx hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes Machu Picchu got a freekick which was hit by İsrafil Metin. In the 96th minute İsrafil Metin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Twierdza Osowiec players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Machu Picchu.
