Wei Feng Kun hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Catugi FC's Folke Österlund got control of the ball when Xie Yue Chao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilesindo Tarapiella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Österlund having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goalkeeper Folke Österlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilesindo Tarapiella. In the 23rd minute, Xie Yue Chao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Folke Österlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jiang Ang Xiao got free with Folke Österlund in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Folke Österlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xie Yue Chao in the 27th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Jiang Ang Xiao dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Folke Österlund, 3-1. In the 41st minute, Xie Yue Chao reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Folke Österlund. The goal made the score 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 67th minute Xie Yue Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Österlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Österlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilesindo Tarapiella in the 69th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Los Galacticos's Xie Yue Chao made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Österlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Los Galacticos fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Los Galacticos's Xie Yue Chao looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 80 minutes into the game, Cássio Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catugi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Galacticos the free kick. Xie Yue Chao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Folke Österlund having to make a save. In the 86th minute Xie Yue Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Österlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Österlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xie Yue Chao in the 88th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Xie Yue Chao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Folke Österlund was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the game, Xie Yue Chao cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Folke Österlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Galacticos had played much better football throughout.
