When Emilio Etxatxu came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Scofield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Etxatxu couldn't finish the play. Emilio Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurand Waselenczuk having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Tipi in the 19th minute of play forced Purple Shadows's goalkeeper Jurand Waselenczuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Scofield's Denis Aballe got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 27 minutes, Nicasio Frederico made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Purple Shadows's Jurand Waselenczuk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Emilio Etxatxu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jurand Waselenczuk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 41 minutes of play, Purple Shadows's Boguslaw Lamczyk made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Pello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zula Scislowicz made a kick off. Dario Gutxi kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Scofield's goal looked a bit too open when Dawid Dziewedik came free, but Fabian Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boguslaw Lamczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Konrad Grabowicz put in a rough tackle. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Purple Shadows! Ryszard Patrylo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Lucjan Kapelski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes, Scofield's Nicasio Loramendi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jurand Waselenczuk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Scofield reached it. In the 98th match minute, Purple Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zula Scislowicz to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Scofield eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
