Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 55 played minutes, Purple Shadows's Ryszard Moizuk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Renátó Bolla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Purple Shadows reached it. Purple Shadows's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ryszard Moizuk in the 68th minute. The corner ended in Ryszard Moizuk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Várdomb's Renátó Bolla did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zula Scislowicz in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renátó Bolla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
