The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Freddy Bermund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Burzaco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Scofield's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Gilen came free, but Constantino Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 11 minutes, Freddy Bermund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Burzaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Bermund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Emilio Etxatxu came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Scofield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Etxatxu couldn't finish the play. Mariano Formerio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Isaio got free with Arnaldo Lano in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Atlético Burzaco's Arnaldo Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Etxatxu in the 28th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Club Atlético Burzaco got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Peruxu. In the 34th minute, Narciso Gilen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Lano made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Timoteo Rufo sent off a good shot on target. Club Atlético Burzaco's Arnaldo Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Etxatxu in the 39th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Burzaco's goalkeeper Arnaldo Lano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Isaio. Marciano Maore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Bermund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Scofield got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Isaio. Constantino Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Gilen in the 57th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Arnaldo Fernendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Rufo in the 58th minute of play forced Club Atlético Burzaco's goalkeeper Arnaldo Lano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Bermund hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the game, Amancio Peruxu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Burzaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scofield the free kick. Arnaldo Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Etxatxu in the 64th minute of the match. Arnaldo Lano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 79th minute, Juan Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Burzaco's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Rufo came free, but Arnaldo Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club Atlético Burzaco getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Freddy Bermund hit a great ball. Timoteo Rufo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo Lano having to make a save. Arnaldo Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Rufo in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Scofield's Timoteo Rufo made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Lano was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Scofield booed when Club Atlético Burzaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Fernendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Timoteo Rufo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Scofield's Constantino Mel got control of the ball when Freddy Bermund tried to sneak it across the goal line. There was no doubt that Scofield were the better team. Scofield's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
