He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Scofield reached it. In the 34th minute, Scofield's Adolfo Colon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adolfo Colon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Scofield protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adolfo Colon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 34th minute, Adolfo Colon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mean Machine's Casper Kleen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Etxatxu in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timoteo Rufo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 68th minute of the match, Juan Romero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Casper Kleen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mean Machine's Casper Kleen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Mean Machine from getting a goal against them. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
