In the 24th minute Kjell-Arne Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Kleen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 minutes Mean Machine's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mattias Kilstedt who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Sandström hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Casper Kleen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik Hellkvist went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjell-Arne Lindberg during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match was over AC Mayonnaise could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mean Machine throughout the match.
