Freddy Bermund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rein Püss having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Freddy Bermund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rein Püss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peeter Hovi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Valdek Joa managed to get in a good position for a shot. JULM C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Valdek Joa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Lano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Rein Püss successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Amancio Peruxu fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Burzaco's protests and gave Amancio Peruxu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of JULM C.F. booed when Club Atlético Burzaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Peruxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peeter Hovi, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 47 minutes of play, JULM C.F.'s Valdek Joa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Lano was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 66th minute, JULM C.F.'s Kaimo Aas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2.
