The coaching staff of JULM C.F. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tõnis Aug had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 30 minutes into the game, one of JULM C.F.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 35 played minutes JULM C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Elmu Klausen. After 43 played minutes JULM C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Kusti Hakk. After 45 minutes, Edmund Holmgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mean Machine and the JULM C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Edmund Holmgren hit a great ball. After the first half Mean Machine were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
