But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Pettersson couldn't finish the play. Bertold Csonka who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Jörgen Qvalfeldt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cheetah Team's David Berggren quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lukács Baranyi, made in the 11th minute of the game. Cheetah Team's Oskar Pettersson got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute Oskar Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renátó Bolla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertold Csonka got free with Jörgen Qvalfeldt in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Cheetah Team's goal looked a bit too open when Sándor Szilágyi came free, but Jörgen Qvalfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cheetah Team getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. David Berggren hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Rutger Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renátó Bolla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Várdomb's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Pettersson came free, but Renátó Bolla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kálmán Horváth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Qvalfeldt having to interfere. Gilbert Benett hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rd match minute, Várdomb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sándor Szilágyi to maneuver through the defense. Kálmán Horváth hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sándor Szilágyi made the kick off in the second half. When Balázs Héj fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Várdomb's protests and gave Balázs Héj a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Várdomb's Balázs Héj got a free kick in the 50th minute. 54 minutes into the match, Várdomb's goalkeeper Renátó Bolla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rutger Gustafsson. Lukács Baranyi charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lukács Baranyi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Várdomb getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Lukács Baranyi hit a great ball. Oskar Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Renátó Bolla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinánd Lőrincz kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Várdomb's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Oskar Pettersson scored to the left of an out of position Renátó Bolla, making the score, 0-1. During the 69th minute of the match Balázs Héj completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Balázs Héj a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Várdomb:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cheetah Team:s goal. Renátó Bolla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rutger Gustafsson in the 91st minute. Lukács Baranyi made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kálmán Horváth immediately put the ball in play. Renátó Bolla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Pettersson in the 97th minute of the match. The Cheetah Team players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
