The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Constantino Mel was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Alf Törnkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alf Törnkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Hans Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Jonny Cane hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Östen Walroth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timoteo Rufo's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Scofield were furious when Maximiliano Enekoitz was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Scofield fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Scofield:s Constantino Mel showed great skill when he stopped Wiktor Strömqvist:s penalty. Östen Walroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Alf Törnkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantino Mel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Scofield's Constantino Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Hellkvist in the 38th minute of play. Timoteo Rufo took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Östen Walroth. Östen Walroth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Nils Tunberg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

In the 52nd minute, Fabian Pello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Rufo got free with Östen Walroth in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Emilio Etxatxu took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Östen Walroth to make any attempt to save it. Scofield's Lucas Birjaio was substituted for Emilio Etxatxu. Ubaldo Orti kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes AC Mayonnaise got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Lindberg. Östen Walroth was a little too slow when Samuel Isaio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-4. After a rather tough play, AC Mayonnaise's Nils Tunberg got a free kick in the 91st minute. Juan Romero scored 2-5 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Östen Walroth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
