Kjell-Arne Lindberg kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Purple Shadows's Ryszard Moizuk got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Östen Walroth. Florian Wykowski hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute of the match Wiktor Strömqvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jurand Waselenczuk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Purple Shadows booed when AC Mayonnaise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell-Arne Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zula Scislowicz in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Östen Walroth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Stig-Arne Ödman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurand Waselenczuk having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zula Scislowicz in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Östen Walroth saved AC Mayonnaise from getting behind. Purple Shadows's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ryszard Moizuk in the 37th minute. After taking down the ball on Purple Shadows's corner Artur Rode fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Östen Walroth quite easily take care of the ball. Artur Rode kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Östen Walroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Rode in the 41st minute of play. AC Mayonnaise's Östen Walroth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save AC Mayonnaise from getting a goal against them. Zula Scislowicz in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Östen Walroth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zula Scislowicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jurand Waselenczuk made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Stig-Arne Ödman sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the game, Jacek Jarocewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Purple Shadows's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Mayonnaise the free kick. Jacek Jarocewicz got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Zula Scislowicz struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Östen Walroth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purple Shadows. A collision led to AC Mayonnaise getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jonny Cane hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Zula Scislowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Östen Walroth was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. If Zula Scislowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florian Wykowski hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Zula Scislowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Jonny Cane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Purple Shadows got a freekick which was hit by Florian Wykowski. AC Mayonnaise's Erik Hellkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90thth minute of the game Zula Scislowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Mayonnaise's Östen Walroth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zula Scislowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Östen Walroth having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Jonny Cane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Mayonnaise's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purple Shadows the free kick. AC Mayonnaise's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
