Constantino Mel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peeter Hovi in the 10th minute. If Peeter Hovi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind JULM C.F.'s goalkeeper Rein Püss, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Constantino Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmu Klausen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kaimo Aas came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the JULM C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaimo Aas couldn't finish the play. After 23 played minutes Scofield got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Min. In the 26th minute, Emilio Etxatxu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rein Püss was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Peeter Hovi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Scofield's Constantino Mel. Constantino Mel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the match, JULM C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Rufo came free, but Rein Püss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Mel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peeter Hovi went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Elmu Klausen hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Rein Püss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Rufo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Timoteo Rufo took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Rein Püss to make any attempt to save it. In the 54th match minute, Scofield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Orti to maneuver through the defense. JULM C.F.'s Rein Püss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Etxatxu in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Valdek Joa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 minutes, Kusti Hakk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JULM C.F. and the Scofield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kusti Hakk kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match Aaron Rodriguez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rein Püss showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Scofield's Lucas Birjaio was substituted for Emilio Etxatxu. The attack was good, but when Heiki Maandi in the 77th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Timoteo Rufo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scofield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Rufo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. JULM C.F.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Gregorio Min scored to the left of an out of position Rein Püss, making the score, 2-5. Ubaldo Orti's late challenge caught a JULM C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ubaldo Orti helped the player get up and apologised. Ubaldo Orti kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Heiki Maandi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the JULM C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heiki Maandi couldn't finish the play. The Scofield supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Scofield would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
