Orlando Stanislao didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Armindo Amado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Martin Celipe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Feliciano Manrique took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Arnau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Armindo Amado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armindo Amado got free with Martin Celipe in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Burzaco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Richard Jespersson was slow to take the kick. During this time Uzumaki FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Uzumaki FC's Andrzej Brzonkala to fire away a dangerous shot which Martin Celipe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Burzaco's goalkeeper Martin Celipe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armindo Amado. After having played for 37 minutes, Armindo Amado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uzumaki FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armindo Amado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Nereo Sesuldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Burzaco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Uzumaki FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Armindo Amado hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Arnau to make the kick off. Armindo Amado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Celipe having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Uzumaki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romualdo Marsano to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tage Eilersgaard during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
