Despite this Ludo Vanden Bossche quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 28th minute Fred Stigsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludo Vanden Bossche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludo Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Tingelholm in the 31st minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Pirlo made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Fre van Eijnde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. William Vennersten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute Fre van Eijnde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Vennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Rafal Witkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Rafal Witkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludo Vanden Bossche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafal Witkowskis short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Ludo Vanden Bossche to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rafal Witkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ludo Vanden Bossche made a huge save. After a rather tough play, The Everett Hawks's Philippe-Arnaud Heremans got a free kick in the 80th minute. Rafal Witkowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ludo Vanden Bossche came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafal Witkowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 87th minute. Ludo Vanden Bossche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Witkowski in the 93rd minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
