Imral Kurniawan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. Izydor Walec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willem-Jan Grootjans went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute of the match The Everett Hawks got a corner. 3City United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Feijo Fresnos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luke Van Bostraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Izydor Walec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. The Everett Hawks's Philippe-Arnaud Heremans was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Marczyniec in the 87th minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Philippe-Arnaud Heremans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 3City United's Izydor Walec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Andreas Pirlo fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Everett Hawks's protests and gave Andreas Pirlo a yellow card for diving instead. 3City United's Damian Terasek suffered a sore thigh after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Andreas Pirlo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. A collision led to The Everett Hawks getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Andreas Pirlo hit a great ball.
