Ludo Vanden Bossche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Rinaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Willem-Jan Grootjans took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Stefano. Eugenio Stefano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 14 minutes, Andreas Pirlo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Valdieri's Eugenio Stefano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Pirlo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Stefano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Philippe-Arnaud Heremans came free, but Eugenio Stefano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Andreas Pirlo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valdieri's Eugenio Stefano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Andreas Pirlo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Stefano was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After 40 minutes of play, The Everett Hawks's Andreas Pirlo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After the first half The Everett Hawks were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edoardo Rinaldi to make the kick off. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Stefano. Eugenio Stefano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 59th minute Andreas Pirlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Stefano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Andreas Pirlo took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Eugenio Stefano to make any attempt to save it. 65 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Fre van Eijnde came free, but Eugenio Stefano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Stefano came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by The Everett Hawks's Philippe-Arnaud Heremans. But to his dismay, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Fre van Eijnde received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugenio Stefano came out and tried to block the shot, but Fre van Eijnde slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Edoardo Rinaldi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valdieri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Everett Hawks the free kick. The Everett Hawks's Luke Van Bostraeten was substituted for Philip Goorts. After 73 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Rinaldi. The Everett Hawks's Andreas Pirlo got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Everett Hawks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Feijo Fresnos in the 78th minute. A nice corner shot did that Feijo Fresnos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eugenio Stefano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eugenio Stefano was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Andreas Pirlo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andreas Pirlo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. With an all-out effort, The Everett Hawks's Eugenio Stefano threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andreas Pirlo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Ferruccio Franceschelli fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valdieri's protests and gave Ferruccio Franceschelli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Ferruccio Franceschelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Everett Hawks played a much better game than Valdieri and deserved their victory. The Valdieri players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
