Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) ESQUIU FC's Tobias Santikurtz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernardo Ikatz kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. ESQUIU FC's Fernan Mouricio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Van Eersel in the 4th minute of play. Fernan Mouricio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Kris Van Eersel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fernan Mouricio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, ESQUIU FC's Emiliano Jorrin got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute The Everett Hawks were awarded a corner. Kris Van Eersel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led The Everett Hawks's Kris Van Eersel to fire away a dangerous shot which Fernan Mouricio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 18 played minutes The Everett Hawks got a freekick which was hit by Tanek Fronczak. Fernan Mouricio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andreas Pirlo went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 0-3 became the score in the 23rd minute when Kris Van Eersel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kris Van Eersel scored 0-4 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernan Mouricio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 minutes, Andreas Pirlo made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. ESQUIU FC's Fernan Mouricio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernan Mouricio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernan Mouricio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Pirlo in the 42nd minute of play forced ESQUIU FC's goalkeeper Fernan Mouricio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Fernan Mouricio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andreas Pirlo to make the kick off. Fernan Mouricio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philippe-Arnaud Heremans's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Andreas Pirlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Fernan Mouricio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Everett Hawks's Andreas Pirlo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 54th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Andreas Pirlo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernan Mouricio. That made the score 0-9 in the 60 minute of play. With an all-out effort, The Everett Hawks's Fernan Mouricio threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andreas Pirlo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 64th minute The Everett Hawks were awarded a corner. Kris Van Eersel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Philippe-Arnaud Heremans got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-10. 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Willem-Jan Grootjans managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Everett Hawks's supporters rose to their feet, but Willem-Jan Grootjans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernan Mouricio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ludo Vanden Bossche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Abalos in the 69th minute of the match. After 71st play minutes Andreas Pirlo shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Fernan Mouricio and just under the crossbar into goal. The Everett Hawks's Philip Goorts was substituted for Kris Van Eersel. ESQUIU FC's Fernan Mouricio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save ESQUIU FC from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, The Everett Hawks's Andreas Pirlo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. Fernan Mouricio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Goorts in the 80th minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, The Everett Hawks's Andreas Pirlo made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernan Mouricio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Philip Goorts in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernan Mouricio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 88 minutes into the match, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans notched a goal, 0-14, to the right of ESQUIU FC's Fernan Mouricio. Fernan Mouricio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans had several of the ESQUIU FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-15 score and a disappointed Fernan Mouricio as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 96 minutes, Andreas Pirlo made it 0-16 with a short kick to the right side. ESQUIU FC's Fernan Mouricio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Everett Hawks played a much better game than ESQUIU FC and deserved their victory. The ESQUIU FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
