Wyszyny's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kajetan Turek in the 19th minute. After taking down the ball on Wyszyny's corner Kajetan Turek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Martin Celipe quite easily take care of the ball. After 22 minutes of play, Wyszyny's Teofil Kosowski made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Celipe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludomir Serwacki in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Celipe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, Wyszyny's goalkeeper Robert Kaczanka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Arnau. After 31 minutes, Guido Pietro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Burzaco and the Wyszyny players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, a hard, long distance shot from Kajetan Turek hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Ryszard Mindykowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Celipe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ryszard Mindykowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Martin Celipe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Mindykowski in the 36th minute of the match. Club Atlético Burzaco's Martin Celipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Kosowski in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ryszard Mindykowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wyszyny's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryszard Mindykowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Celipe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robert Kaczanka was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fausto Arnau showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 47 minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryszard Mindykowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Wyszyny made a substitution. Jacek Kocieniewski replaced Kajetan Turek. Club Atlético Burzaco's Felix Tabby was substituted for Nereo Sesuldo. When the match had been going on for 90 minutes Radoslaw Rakowski shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Martin Celipe when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Wyszyny's Bogumil Mierzejewski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marcelino Xacintu in the 92 minute of the game. Martin Celipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Mindykowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Wyszyny supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wyszyny would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
