Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The Everett Hawks's Andreas Pirlo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hristo Stoichkov in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludo Vanden Bossche saved The Everett Hawks from getting behind. With a little luck, SvE United's Tzvetoslav Desov got control of the ball when Fre van Eijnde tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Tzvetoslav Desov managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when The Everett Hawks's Fre van Eijnde fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Fre van Eijnde got free in front of the goal in the 15th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Tzvetoslav Desov was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ludo Vanden Bossche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitko Kozlov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitko Kozlov got in the 19th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ludo Vanden Bossche handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Denis Stracqualursi fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SvE United's protests and gave Denis Stracqualursi a yellow card for diving instead. Tzvetoslav Desov made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Andreas Pirlo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Pirlo got free with Tzvetoslav Desov in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Hristo Stoichkov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SvE United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, SvE United's Matey Balabanov got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute The Everett Hawks were awarded a corner. Kris Van Eersel went to the cornerflag to take it. Fre van Eijnde might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tzvetoslav Desov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fre van Eijnde ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute of the match, Andreas Pirlo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tzvetoslav Desov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Andreas Pirlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Tzvetoslav Desov made a huge save. Tzvetoslav Desov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 37th minute. Ludo Vanden Bossche came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by SvE United's Jonny Kleen. But to his dismay, Jonny Kleen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 44 minutes into the match, SvE United's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Pirlo came free, but Tzvetoslav Desov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Hristo Stoichkov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SvE United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitko Kozlov made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fre van Eijnde in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tzvetoslav Desov saved SvE United from getting behind. Anthoon Verduin kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Hristo Stoichkov hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute Fre van Eijnde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tzvetoslav Desov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tzvetoslav Desov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fre van Eijnde, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SvE United's zone, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tzvetoslav Desov came out of the goal and Philippe-Arnaud Heremans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
