Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Håkan Šuker took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Carloforte f.c.'s Armin Scotti got a free kick in the 2nd minute. La Cosa Nostra's Håkan Šuker got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Håkan Šuker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Beppe Savoia came out and tried to block the shot, but Håkan Šuker slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. The La Cosa Nostra fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when La Cosa Nostra's Håkan Šuker looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Håkan Šuker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beppe Savoia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. La Cosa Nostra were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Carloforte f.c.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hans Bergfelt took the corner. In the 19th minute Håkan Šuker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Savoia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Håkan Šuker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beppe Savoia having to make a save. With a little luck, Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia got control of the ball when Håkan Šuker tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Håkan Šuker came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the La Cosa Nostra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Šuker couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Håkan Šuker managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Cosa Nostra's supporters rose to their feet, but Håkan Šuker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beppe Savoia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the game, Armin Scotti threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Cosa Nostra's Ricardo Araújo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Håkan Šuker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Šuker in the 41st minute of play forced Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Beppe Savoia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Beppe Savoia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Šuker. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Sonny Alén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Galeone in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Šuker in the 54th minute of play forced Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Beppe Savoia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Håkan Šuker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Beppe Savoia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59thth minute of the game Håkan Šuker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Armin Scotti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Håkan Šuker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beppe Savoia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Ricardo Araújo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Beppe Savoia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 79 minutes into the game, Håkan Šuker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Beppe Savoia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Beppe Savoia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Håkan Šuker went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Håkan Šuker took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beppe Savoia. Beppe Savoia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. 91 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Šuker came free, but Beppe Savoia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
