An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew De la Torre in the 9th minute of play forced Szajk LC's goalkeeper Özdemir Babayiğit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giorgio Camacho charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giorgio Camacho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Giorgio Camacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Roland Gergely managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szajk LC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Gergely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Gonzalez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the game, Miklós Bogdán was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szajk LC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salelles the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Szajk LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miklós Bogdán to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Matthew De la Torre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özdemir Babayiğit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bizen Roig kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Özdemir Babayiğit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Padro Cabrera in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Sámuel Kádár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Szajk LC's zone, Fidel Astudillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özdemir Babayiğit came out of the goal and Fidel Astudillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Levente Makkai was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Szajk LC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Levente Makkai hit a great ball. Augusto Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Gergely in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Gergely during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Roland Gergely hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Salelles's goal looked a bit too open when Levente Makkai came free, but Augusto Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes Szajk LC got a freekick which was hit by György Schwarzenberg. The Szajk LC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
