In the 17th minute Brian Seguela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willian Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Seguela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehdi Cuvillier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Willian Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehdi Cuvillier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Seguela in the 26th minute of play forced Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Willian Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes in the game, Brian Seguela fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Willian Lucas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney da Cunha in the 33rd minute of play forced corsaire nantais's goalkeeper Melvin Passemard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melvin Passemard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sydney da Cunha's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Melvin Passemard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian Seguela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. corsaire nantais's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Alp Çoğahan scored to the left of an out of position Melvin Passemard, making the score, 1-1. After 54 minutes, Clem Le Mat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the corsaire nantais and the Leões do Sul 53 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Clem Le Mat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alp Çoğahan struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Melvin Passemard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leões do Sul 53. If Mehdi Cuvillier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Mehdi Cuvillier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, corsaire nantais's Théodore Robillard got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some careless play in the corsaire nantais defense, Alp Çoğahan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melvin Passemard. The corsaire nantais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melvin Passemard should have stopped the shot. Willian Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Seguela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Vides charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Vides the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alp Çoğahan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Melvin Passemard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willian Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehdi Cuvillier in the 93rd minute of the match. A collision led to Leões do Sul 53 getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Sydney da Cunha hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
