Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Levente Makkai made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tamás Galambos got free with Stig-Arne Boström in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute, Miklós Bogdán ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stig-Arne Boström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Özdemir Babayiğit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pål Joensson's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. A collision led to Brothers of Mercy getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jörn Matsson hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Roland Gergely fired a really elegant long shot, but Stig-Arne Boström threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. 25 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Dalström came free, but Özdemir Babayiğit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pål Joensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Özdemir Babayiğit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Dalström in the 32nd minute of the match. Özdemir Babayiğit came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Brothers of Mercy's Pål Joensson. But to his dismay, Pål Joensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Siniša Mihajlović charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siniša Mihajlović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Szajk LC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Özdemir Babayiğit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Dalström, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kenny Dalström was the one to do the kick off. Pål Joensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Özdemir Babayiğit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Özdemir Babayiğit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pål Joensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Pål Joensson took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Özdemir Babayiğit. Özdemir Babayiğit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Szajk LC's goalkeeper Özdemir Babayiğit, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Brothers of Mercy's Pål Joensson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Özdemir Babayiğit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Szajk LC's goalkeeper Özdemir Babayiğit, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kenny Dalström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Özdemir Babayiğit made a huge save. Szajk LC's Sámuel Kádár was substituted for Miklós Bogdán. Szajk LC made a substitution. Obi Neba replaced Lajos Szuper. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szajk LC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gabriel Saliba was slow to take the kick. During this time Brothers of Mercy's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Brothers of Mercy's Gabriel Saliba to fire away a dangerous shot which Özdemir Babayiğit despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Stig-Arne Boström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sámuel Kádár in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 87thth minute of the game Pål Joensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szajk LC's Özdemir Babayiğit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Özdemir Babayiğit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Joensson in the 94th minute of the match. Özdemir Babayiğit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Joensson in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Brothers of Mercy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Szajk LC.
