Afşar Çoğaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Mero Pascua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salelles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leões do Sul 53 the free kick. A collision led to Salelles getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mero Pascua hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Carlos Eduardo Peres got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

In the 52nd minute Sydney da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carlos Eduardo Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Mero Pascua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney da Cunha in the 63rd minute of play forced Salelles's goalkeeper Augusto Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Peres in the 64th minute of the match. When Fidel Astudillo came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Salelles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Astudillo couldn't finish the play. Leões do Sul 53's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Matthew De la Torre scored to the left of an out of position Willian Lucas, making the score, 4-3. Mero Pascua hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The supporters of Salelles booed when Leões do Sul 53 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leões do Sul 53 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Salelles for a fine match.
