In the 18th minute of the match, Damian Terasek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Beppe Savoia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Bernardo Antonelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 3City United had won after a very even match.
