The Szajk LC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gigi Buffon came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Szajk LC's Levente Makkai. But to his dismay, Levente Makkai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a little luck, Ajax's Gigi Buffon got control of the ball when Levente Makkai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gigi Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Levente Makkai in the 14th minute. Levente Makkai took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigi Buffon. Gigi Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 20 minutes into the match, Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Levente Makkai came free, but Gigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richárd Lehoczky got free with Gigi Buffon in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gigi Buffon made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Richárd Lehoczky sent off a good shot on target. After 30 played minutes Ajax got a freekick which was hit by Wojciech Mietus. After a defensive mix-up in Ajax's zone, Roland Gergely stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigi Buffon came out of the goal and Roland Gergely tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miklós Bogdán in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Ajax getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Wojciech Mietus hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Ajax defense, Levente Makkai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gigi Buffon. The Ajax fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigi Buffon should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wieslaw Cerocki made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Levente Makkai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gigi Buffon was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Özdemir Babayiğit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walery Nowacki in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Levente Makkai in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigi Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walery Nowacki during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ajax's Walery Nowacki got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute Tamás Galambos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ajax's Gigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miklós Bogdán in the 68th minute of play. Richárd Lehoczky scored 9-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigi Buffon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Levente Csongrádi fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szajk LC's protests and gave Levente Csongrádi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Szajk LC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Levente Csongrádi hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Richárd Lehoczky had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigi Buffon. Ajax's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richárd Lehoczky was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Ajax's Gigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levente Makkai in the 85th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Levente Makkai put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gigi Buffon. Levente Makkai took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigi Buffon. Gigi Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. In the 92nd minute, Levente Csongrádi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ajax's Gigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levente Makkai in the 94th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Szajk LC got a freekick which was hit by Sámuel Kádár. There was no doubt that Szajk LC were the better team. Szajk LC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
