Kaapro Romo-Leroux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Galeone, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Carloforte f.c.'s Alessandro Galeone was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kaapro Romo-Leroux in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Carloforte f.c.'s Waclaw Zajonc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos-Alberto Escalera in the 15th minute of play. When Ettore Brunetta came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Carloforte f.c. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Brunetta couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Lisandro Masses ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Waclaw Zajonc. Waclaw Zajonc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 96th minute, but Waclaw Zajonc got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Carloforte f.c. hanging dry this time. Rafael Nanclares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Waclaw Zajonc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
