Pål Joensson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Özdemir Babayiğit came out and tried to block the shot, but Pål Joensson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. 范邦天 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csongor Csorba, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Pål Joensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szajk LC's Özdemir Babayiğit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Özdemir Babayiğit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Joensson in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Csongor Csorba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 范邦天 was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Richárd Lehoczky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 范邦天 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goalkeeper Özdemir Babayiğit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niklas Wik. In the 19th minute Ede Szénási shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 范邦天 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özdemir Babayiğit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pål Joensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, Szajk LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Lidon to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 27 minutes, Alberto Clementi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brothers of Mercy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Clementi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goalkeeper Özdemir Babayiğit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pål Joensson. In the 36th minute Levente Makkai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 范邦天 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Pål Joensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If Karl-Oskar Käcker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Brothers of Mercy booed when Szajk LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamás Galambos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Csongor Csorba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but 范邦天 made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Szajk LC's zone, Pål Joensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özdemir Babayiğit came out of the goal and Pål Joensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Joensson came free, but Özdemir Babayiğit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pål Joensson took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Özdemir Babayiğit. Özdemir Babayiğit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Szajk LC's Roland Gergely was substituted for Ede Szénási. In the 72nd match minute, Brothers of Mercy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Oskar Käcker to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Dávid Benkó in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Brothers of Mercy's Karl-Oskar Käcker. The audience was convinced that Pål Joensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Özdemir Babayiğit was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Felix Alström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szajk LC made a substitution. Miklós Bogdán replaced Csongor Csorba. After a rather tough play, Brothers of Mercy's Felix Alström got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Jens-Ola Ek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Özdemir Babayiğit. Szajk LC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 87 minutes in the game Lajos Szuper did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Levente Makkai. 范邦天 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miklós Bogdán in the 88th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pål Joensson in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Özdemir Babayiğit saved Szajk LC from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Niklas Wik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özdemir Babayiğit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miklós Bogdán could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but 范邦天 made a huge save.
