Waclaw Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Mineiro in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Mineiro in the 6th minute of play forced Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Waclaw Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Radoslaw Sroka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waclaw Zajonc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Teun Verbraecken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Brunetta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edmílson Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carloforte f.c.'s Waclaw Zajonc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Mineiro in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Cunha in the 27th minute of play forced Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Waclaw Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Edmílson Mineiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waclaw Zajonc. Carloforte f.c.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmílson Mineiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmílson Mineiro in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waclaw Zajonc saved Carloforte f.c. from getting behind. Armandinho Vieira hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Carloforte f.c.'s Teun Verbraecken threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ciro Donati, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 42nd minute, Fabinho Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Barra Funda F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Lennart Härm made the kick off in the second half. Lennart Härm kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Rogério Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Barra Funda F.C's Franklin Pirani seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Franklin Pirani the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Barra Funda F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Franklin Pirani had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barra Funda F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Lennart Härm placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Carloforte f.c.'s Waclaw Zajonc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Carloforte f.c. from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Mineiro came free, but Waclaw Zajonc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Edmílson Mineiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waclaw Zajonc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Carloforte f.c.'s Diego Simeoni was substituted for Ettore Brunetta. When Lennart Härm came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Carloforte f.c. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Härm couldn't finish the play. Edmílson Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Waclaw Zajonc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmílson Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Waclaw Zajonc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barra Funda F.C. 83 minutes into the game, Fabinho Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barra Funda F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carloforte f.c. the free kick. Fabinho Porto hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Edmílson Mineiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carloforte f.c.'s Waclaw Zajonc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teun Verbraecken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Adamowicz in the 87th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inácio Domingues during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Carloforte f.c. booed when Barra Funda F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Donati in the 89th minute of play forced Barra Funda F.C's goalkeeper Teun Verbraecken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barra Funda F.C's Teun Verbraecken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Härm in the 90th minute of play. Teun Verbraecken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Simeoni in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, one of Barra Funda F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barra Funda F.C. Teun Verbraecken had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Lennart Härm's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 98 minutes of play, Carloforte f.c.'s Lennart Härm made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teun Verbraecken was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Barra Funda F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
