Lennart Härm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Eliseu do Valle made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Siggman came free, but Waclaw Zajonc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, corsaire nantais's Tobias Siggman made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waclaw Zajonc was left in no man's land by his defense there! Waclaw Zajonc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mamadou Clermont in the 38th minute of the match. Waclaw Zajonc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Siggman, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With a little luck, corsaire nantais's Eliseu do Valle got control of the ball when Lennart Härm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Härm made a kick off. Waclaw Zajonc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Siggman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennart Härm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu do Valle having to interfere. Carloforte f.c. made a substitution. Armin Scotti replaced Arrigo Guidoni. The supporters of corsaire nantais booed when Carloforte f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliseu do Valle showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded corsaire nantais left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Carloforte f.c..
