Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmílson Mineiro to make the kick off. Gigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Mineiro in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Wojtek Sokol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teun Verbraecken was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 57th minute Tonton Eren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teun Verbraecken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tonton Eren in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teun Verbraecken saved Barra Funda F.C from getting behind. Danilo Maurino charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Edmílson Mineiro took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Gigi Buffon to make any attempt to save it. Ajax made a substitution. Remigiusz Galaska replaced Klement Bryk. In the 90th minute, Rogério Cunha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gigi Buffon. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 94th minute, Artemio Javiero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barra Funda F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
