Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ture Waller started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Aleksander Lange fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Northland Vikings's protests and gave Aleksander Lange a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Northland Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Lange. Ajax's Klement Bryk got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klement Bryk got free with Benne Benneborg in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Ajax's Chad Smith to fire away a dangerous shot which Benne Benneborg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Ajax's Tonton Eren in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Northland Vikings's goalie prevented a goal. Ture Waller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gigi Buffon having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Ture Waller came free, but Gigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ajax booed when Northland Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Gerdberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Falk in the 17th minute of play. With his leg Benne Benneborg managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Ajax's Tonton Eren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg got control of the ball when Klement Bryk tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 23 minutes Northland Vikings's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Klement Bryk who took care of the corner kick. Aleksander Lange hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Tonton Eren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Benneborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match Ajax got a corner. Northland Vikings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Klement Bryk ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Klement Bryk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benne Benneborg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gigi Buffon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ture Waller's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Paulo Maldini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Čolak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Ture Waller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigi Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 44th minute Wojtek Sokol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Benneborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benne Benneborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonton Eren in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Northland Vikings were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tonton Eren made the kick off in the second half. Benne Benneborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonton Eren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benne Benneborg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tonton Eren's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonton Eren in the 57th minute of play. Ture Waller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Northland Vikings's Gigi Buffon threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ture Waller, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Bryk in the 61st minute of play. Benne Benneborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wojtek Sokol in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Čolak got free with Gigi Buffon in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ajax's Klement Bryk got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Northland Vikings's Gao Peng Ran was substituted for Ture Waller. Northland Vikings made a substitution. Mel Speerschneider replaced Ralf Allgöwer. Gao Peng Ran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gigi Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match Northland Vikings got a corner. Ajax's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonio Čolak ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nicklas Lindström hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Benne Benneborg came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Ajax's Andrzej Rudy. But to his dismay, Andrzej Rudy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Andrzej Rudy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benne Benneborg was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tonton Eren in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benne Benneborg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute, Gao Peng Ran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigi Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ajax made a substitution. Remigiusz Galaska replaced Klement Bryk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonton Eren in the 93rd minute of play forced Northland Vikings's goalkeeper Benne Benneborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benne Benneborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonton Eren in the 94th minute of play. The Northland Vikings players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
