Leonardo Lane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waclaw Zajonc having to interfere. When Zamalek FC's Leonardo Lane in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carloforte f.c.'s goalie prevented a goal. Mugurel Balaeț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Waclaw Zajonc made a huge save. In the 11th minute Leonardo Lane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waclaw Zajonc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Kirkpatrick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waclaw Zajonc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Lennart Härm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carloforte f.c. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Waclaw Zajonc didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Zamalek FC's Leonardo Lane shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Leonardo Lane struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Waclaw Zajonc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zamalek FC. When Leonardo Lane came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Zamalek FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Lane couldn't finish the play. Waclaw Zajonc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Lane's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 40 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Adamowicz came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Zamalek FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Zack Grier hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Dobromir Adamowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Lane was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Lane in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waclaw Zajonc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dave Pozzoli kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Waclaw Zajonc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Waclaw Zajonc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Kirkpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Fred Kirkpatrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waclaw Zajonc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zamalek FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Elin Elin hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Leonardo Lane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Carloforte f.c.'s Rhys Dimmock threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dobromir Adamowicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leonardo Lane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waclaw Zajonc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Leonardo Lane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zamalek FC's Daron Joseph was substituted for Fred Kirkpatrick. Zamalek FC's Jann Bernickow was substituted for Leonardo Lane. In the 83rd match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoslaw Sroka to maneuver through the defense. Daron Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Waclaw Zajonc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Ritacco came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
