Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ture Waller started the match with the kick off. Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Northland Vikings from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Beltran got free with Benne Benneborg in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andreas Falk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Alexandros Ismael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alin Cristaldo took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benne Benneborg. Benne Benneborg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alexandros Ismael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ture Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Alexandros Ismael came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Northland Vikings's Ture Waller. But to his dismay, Ture Waller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alexandros Ismael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Falk in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Northland Vikings's goalkeeper Benne Benneborg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alin Cristaldo. In the 33rd minute Eusebio Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Benneborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benne Benneborg made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Alin Cristaldo sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Ture Waller notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Águilas Poblanas's Alexandros Ismael. Alexandros Ismael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 41 played minutes Northland Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Allgöwer. Alin Cristaldo came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benne Benneborg could save by the left post. Ciro Matai hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Benne Benneborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Beltran in the 51st minute of play. Alin Cristaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Victor Macias hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Falk got free with Alexandros Ismael in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Falk in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandros Ismael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Northland Vikings made a substitution. Gao Peng Ran replaced Ture Waller. Northland Vikings's Mel Speerschneider was substituted for Ralf Allgöwer. Cengiz Canalp kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Alexandros Ismael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Peng Ran in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gao Peng Ran in the 71st minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Alexandros Ismael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Andreas Falk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Alexandros Ismael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Klement Malik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Galeno in the 86th minute of play. Andreas Falk's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alexandros Ismael firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Gao Peng Ran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Northland Vikings eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
