Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Clube Sporting Navuo's Joaquim Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Lane in the 8th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander McCuag got free with Rhys Dimmock in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute Leonardo Lane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergey Krasinskiy in the 25th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toninho Guerreiro got free with Rhys Dimmock in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute Daron Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Viktor Schukin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Zamalek FC from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the game, Leonardo Lane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joaquim Pombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rhys Dimmock made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Andreas Fuchs sent off a good shot on target. Toninho Guerreiro hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Andreas Fuchs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Zamalek FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cleiton Ribeiro made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Ribeiro came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clube Sporting Navuo were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Zamalek FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexander McCuag took the corner. In the 54th minute of the match, Viktor Schukin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquim Pombal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rhys Dimmock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Fuchs in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Daron Joseph dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquim Pombal, 0-2. Rhys Dimmock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Fuchs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexander McCuag kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Clube Sporting Navuo's Joaquim Pombal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Sporting Navuo from getting a goal against them. Rhys Dimmock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander McCuag in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Travassos came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Andreas Fuchs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rhys Dimmock was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clube Sporting Navuo made a substitution. Régis Tinoco replaced Emilijano Spasovski. Zamalek FC's Jann Bernickow was substituted for Sergey Krasinskiy. Clube Sporting Navuo's Gabriel Batistuta was substituted for Cleiton Ribeiro. Alexander McCuag recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Batistuta in the 84th minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Clube Sporting Navuo's goalkeeper Joaquim Pombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jann Bernickow. Alexander McCuag charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander McCuag the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Mugurel Balaeț managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zamalek FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugurel Balaeț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Pombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
