Teun Verbraecken made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Raoul Boehnke came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Barra Funda F.C's Edmílson Mineiro. But to his dismay, Edmílson Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Barra Funda F.C's Edmílson Mineiro in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KIRIKKALESPOR's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th match minute, KIRIKKALESPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kadir Sen to maneuver through the defense. Edmílson Mineiro took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raoul Boehnke. Raoul Boehnke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Raoul Boehnke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Mineiro in the 31st minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Barra Funda F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hampus Smitt to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th match minute, KIRIKKALESPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Hegoi to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmílson Mineiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Edmílson Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raoul Boehnke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, KIRIKKALESPOR's Raoul Boehnke got control of the ball when Hampus Smitt tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Barra Funda F.C's Raoul Boehnke threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmílson Mineiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fırat Şahinalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Teun Verbraecken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Vágner da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barra Funda F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Vágner da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raoul Boehnke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hampus Smitt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Raoul Boehnke made a huge save. Raoul Boehnke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hampus Smitt, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute Tudor Orășan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teun Verbraecken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barra Funda F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
