Albino Ibar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Tomé Oliveira made a huge save. In the 14th minute Ciro Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Tomé Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. from getting a goal against them. Orlando Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Nunes came free, but Orlando Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s zone, Ciro Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomé Oliveira came out of the goal and Ciro Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlando Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Brasil came free, but Tomé Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albino Ibar to make the kick off. AKI CORINTHIANS's Orlando Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Campidelis in the 53rd minute of play. Tomé Oliveira came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil. But to his dismay, Ciro Brasil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 59th minute AKI CORINTHIANS were awarded a corner. Alfred Schrijns went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on AKI CORINTHIANS's corner Alfred Schrijns fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tomé Oliveira quite easily take care of the ball. Orlando Nogueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magno Nunes in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson Castro in the 68th minute of play forced Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomé Oliveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Brasil went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute of the match Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. got a corner. AKI CORINTHIANS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sandro Alvarenga ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Sandro Alvarenga to fire away a dangerous shot which Orlando Nogueira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Orlando Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Guimarães in the 78th minute of play. Magno Nunes succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. In the 82nd minute Caco Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When AKI CORINTHIANS's Albino Ibar in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute Ciro Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Orlando Nogueira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Many of Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but AKI CORINTHIANS were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
