When Ron Migneault fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarada's protests and gave Ron Migneault a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Tarada got a freekick which was hit by Ron Migneault. Zeca Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Henrick Zeier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederik Strzelczyk hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serge Jeanneret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Ipar having to interfere. In the 24th minute Prospero Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrick Zeier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Ipar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Wielowiejski in the 28th minute of the match. Frederik Strzelczyk hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Zeca Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Henrick Zeier made a huge save. Lobos de Carelia's Adolfo Gombal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Henrick Zeier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serge Jeanneret in the 33rd minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Feliberto Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lobos de Carelia's Feliberto Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ron Migneault in the 43rd minute of play. Henrick Zeier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Gombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 46 minutes, Zeca Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobos de Carelia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeca Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Henrick Zeier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Gombal in the 51st minute of the match. Serge Jeanneret blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliberto Ipar having to make a save. Feliberto Ipar made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ron Migneault sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd match minute, Tarada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Gunnarsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Florian Walther hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolfo Gombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serge Jeanneret in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliberto Ipar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ron Migneault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Inguma was substituted for Prospero Perico. Lobos de Carelia's Chiquito Reyes was substituted for Gabriel Efraim. Tarada were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Lobos de Carelia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oskar Gunnarsson took the corner. 81 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Gombal came free, but Henrick Zeier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Ipar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stian Aarflot in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Stian Aarflot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliberto Ipar. Lobos de Carelia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stian Aarflot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Feliberto Ipar made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Ron Migneault sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the game, Adam Wielowiejski lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Feliberto Ipar. The Lobos de Carelia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tarada's performance. The match ended with a win for Tarada.
