In the 4th minute, Ciro Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Rotariu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albino Ibar in the 6th minute. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Orlando Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfred Schrijns went to the cornerflag to take it. Jan Kimmich's late challenge caught a AKI CORINTHIANS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Kimmich helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes PoWer SC 2K5 got a freekick which was hit by Jan Kimmich. 29 minutes into the game, Ciro Brasil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. David Rotariu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute Hector Todor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albino Ibar hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, PoWer SC 2K5's Bayezit Tecmil got a free kick in the 46th minute. The supporters of AKI CORINTHIANS booed when PoWer SC 2K5 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Kimmich didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Alfred Schrijns managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKI CORINTHIANS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Schrijns was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albino Ibar to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Zvonimir Prestin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PoWer SC 2K5's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zvonimir Prestin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Zvonimir Prestin could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Orlando Nogueira however easily saved by the left post. The PoWer SC 2K5 fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when PoWer SC 2K5's Zvonimir Prestin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Todor in the 68th minute of play forced AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Orlando Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Orlando Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zvonimir Prestin. David Rotariu came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil. But to his dismay, Ciro Brasil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. When Zvonimir Prestin came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the PoWer SC 2K5 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zvonimir Prestin couldn't finish the play. Bayezit Tecmil charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bayezit Tecmil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bayezit Tecmil kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The AKI CORINTHIANS support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
